Welcome back to Ovilla Christian for another school year!
Whether you are a new family or have a returning Eagle, you will find resources here for the on-campus life of your student, volunteer opportunities for parents, and ways to stay informed of class and extracurricular activities.

School Hours and Eagle Camp
Eagle Camp is our after-school care. Register your student(s) by filling out this form and sending it to the OCS Office. Students may not be left on campus after pick-up time.
Our campus has a single-point, supervised entry. All students enter and exit through the front entrance of the school. Do not attempt to drop off your student at the Worship Center or Annex doors.
Drop-off Procedures: form one line in the morning. When your vehicle is next to the orange cones, you may let your student out. OCS staff will be available to assist younger students.
Pick-up Procedures: form two lines in the afternoon. Enter the carline only at your designated time. Display your car sign until you have your student.

Uniforms and Dress Code
Come to campus on June 20 for the summer Uniform + Spiritwear Event! More info here.
The OCS dress code is designed to create a neat and professional appearance, enhance the learning environment in the classroom, and reduce competition based on socioeconomic status or group identity among students.
Purchase uniform pieces through Flynn O’Hara, our uniform partner, or shop at the used uniform sales throughout the year.
Monday–Thursday: OCS uniform tops with uniform bottoms. Only OCS crewneck sweatshirts and jackets may be worn during the school day. Hoodies are allowed during the athletic period only.
Friday: Optional OCS spirit t-shirts (spiritwear) with jeans; OCS hoodies may be worn on Fridays only.
Parent/Student Handbooks
The school handbooks are available for our current parents and students to view on ParentSquare. On the PSQ app, tap More at the bottom right and then tap Links. On a browser, the Links list is found under Explore on the right side of the window. You will find the respective Parent/Student handbook(s) shared with you in the Links section.
Lunch at OCS
Lunch periods are 30 minutes. Students may bring lunch from home or purchase hot meals and à la carte items from the cafeteria. Grades 3-12 may use microwaves. Visitors may sign in at the front desk and bring food to students.
New for fall 2024: we are partnering with Crave-It Nutrition. Parents need to set up a lunch account and meals may be pre-ordered up to a month in advance. Meals must be pre-ordered two days in advance if they want something specific. Otherwise, they will be able to choose from the options available in person. Students must have an active account to purchase hot lunches.
See Crave-It Nutrition Intro and Account Setup for more information and FAQs about the lunch program.
2024-2025 Supply Lists
Lower School supplies may be purchased as a bundle from EPI through June 14, 2024 (school code OVI001). If you missed the deadline to order or choose to buy your items separately, please click the links below to view the respective supply lists.
OCS Communication
Throughout the week, the OCS Office and homeroom teachers will send out information in ParentSquare. We’ll highlight important upcoming dates, athletic events, award and competition winners, and tell you what’s going on around the school. Your contact information in FACTS is used for ParentSquare, so please make sure that is current. Check your settings today to ensure you are receiving notifications the way you prefer so that you can engage with us in your student’s education.
Note: if you haven’t received a ParentSquare invite or are not receiving ParentSquare email or text notifications, contact the OCS Office.
Logging onto FACTS allows you to view student(s) grades, schedule, behavior, attendance, lesson plans, and homework assignments. You will also be prompted annually to set up your tuition payment plan for the following school year.
OCS parents are all in.
Ovilla Christian partners with families, not just students. Many of our parents want to be more involved with their student's education in and out of the classroom, including fine arts and sports. These parents are ALL IN!
We want to equip OCS parents to live out our mission—to cultivate an environment where each student and each parent move forward from this place as a dedicated follower of Christ, ready to tackle life as a biblical thinker, lifelong learner, and servant leader. OCS parents who are ALL IN do not offload the spiritual development of their children to a Christian school; rather, they engage in training and community that spurs them on to truly be Christian parents. Will you be ALL IN with us?
To be involved with any of our three parent groups, your attendance is required at quarterly All-In Eagles meetings. Dates for 2024-2025 coming soon.
Eagle Parent Fellowship
The Eagle Parent Fellowship (EPF) is composed of parents or grandparents who want to be more involved with OCS. Its purpose is to create stronger relationships between the school and home, to support the staff and faculty at OCS, and give back to the school. The EPF organizes the used uniform sales, coordinate class moms or dads, and head up the PEST (Parents Encouraging Staff and Teachers) Program. Click here to join the EPF on ParentSquare—you don’t have to be a parent to join!
Be Involved with Extracurriculars
The OC Athletics Department is supported in part by the Athletic Booster Club. Join us on ParentSquare and receive communication about the Athletic Booster Club.
